VERONA, Italy C Clients can get a truer feel for the look of natural stone in custom jobs, as provided by new software co-developed by Marmi Bruno Zanet.

Volargne de Dolce, Italy-based Zanet teamed with Brazilian designer Ludson M. Zampirolli to announce Stonexperience, a 3D presentation software geared to the natural-stone market, during the Marmomacc trade event here earlier this month.

Users of the Web-based software can see stone applications via virtual 3D models created with panoramic viewing angles; everything can be customized with a wide range of materials in a multitude of colors. With Stonexperience, customers can see and understand how stones can be used in a specific space such as a kitchen, living room or large public space.

Stonexperience currently can simulate interiors with 30 types of Zanets natural stone in 16 3D scenes, changing the layout of the floor and the colors of the walls and the furnishings.

For a monthly fee, stone from other suppliers can be presented via the software; other custom 3D scenes can also be programmed and incorporated in Stonexperience for an extra fee. The software can also be portaled through a distribution or design company on a sponsorship basis.
